If you choose to log in, we authenticate you via Google OAuth. We store your basic profile information (email address and name) to create your account and sync your saved vocabulary.

c. Usage Data

When you explicitly save a word or phrase to your dashboard, we store:

• The text you selected
• The generated definition/analysis
• The URL of the page where you found the text (to provide context)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide Service: Selected text is sent to our backend and third-party AI providers (Google Gemini API) solely for the purpose of generating linguistic analysis.
• To Personalize Experience: We use your preferences to tailor the target language and audio settings.
• To Sync Data: Your saved vocabulary is stored in our database so you can access it across devices.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share specific data points with the following third-party service providers only as necessary to function:

• Google Gemini API: To generate definitions and grammar explanations.
• Google Authentication: For secure login.

4. Data Retention

We retain your saved vocabulary and user profile until you delete your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
